Overview
We are seeking an experienced Timber Frame Production Supervisor to assist our Production Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations within our timber frame manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of timber frame production processes. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate timber frame production activities on the shop floor, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Implement and monitor process improvements to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and client expectations.
- Lead assembly processes, providing guidance and support to team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions on process improvements, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage staffing levels, performance evaluations, and labour planning to optimise team efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in timber frame manufacturing supervision with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to timber framing machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Good communication skills, capable of liaising across departments including supply chain, engineering, and production teams.
This role is integral to maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality within our timber framing operations while supporting ongoing growth and innovation in our manufacturing processes.
Pay: £35,500.00-£39,000.00 per year
