Ortus recruitment is looking for a Learning Support Assistant in the area of Wandsworth to work inside a Pupil Referral Unit. We're looking for a motivated and strong individual who is looking to take on a new challenge, you'll be working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). You'll be working with a group of children inside a classroom environment, making sure they're interacting with each other and creating bonds. These children are ready to develop their skills and learn with a supportive Learning Support Assistant.

The resources provided to you will help develop the children's learning and make sure that they're engaged when you teach. The children aren't able to attend mainstream schools because they have behavioural difficulties. This means that creating a strong relationship with them is very important. The staff are experienced professionals, who are willing to help and support you along the way. They'll make sure that you fit in with the team and support you in creating relationships with the children.
Skills you will need
- Great at adapting to new environments

- Restraint training (Team Teach, PRICE, MAPA) not essential
Pay: £95.00-£130.00 per day
