You will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of service by directly overseeing staff performance through routine assessments and guidance. Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervisions: Conduct regular 1-to-1 supervisions and appraisals with care assistants to support their professional development and well-being.
- Field Spot Checks: Perform unannounced and scheduled spot checks on staff in clients' homes to ensure compliance, safety, and high-quality care delivery.
- Lead by Example: Provide exceptional personal care, medication support, and companionship to clients in their own homes.
- Support the Team: Shadow, mentor, and introduce new care assistants to clients, ensuring high standards are met.
- On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency advice and support to field staff.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a home care (domiciliary) setting, with a proven track record of guiding junior staff.
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence with access to your own reliable vehicle (essential).
- Traits: Strong leadership qualities, an eye for detail during assessments, excellent communication skills, and a true passion for helping others.
