Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Duties
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and organising medication orders
- Support medication administration processes where applicable, ensuring correct dosages and patient instructions
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication use
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety standards
- Manage stock levels, including ordering and storage of pharmaceutical supplies
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry and filing of prescription records
- working with BD ROWA robotic dispensing system
Experience
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care
MUST HAVE PHARMACY EXPERIENCE.
