The role
We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Store person / Delivery Driver to support our operations in Bootle. In this key role, you will manage all aspects of materials handling, including receiving, inspecting, and logging deliveries, maintaining safe and compliant storage areas, and carrying out regular stock checks to ensure accurate stock control. You will issue materials, PPE, and specialist retrofit components to site teams while supporting audit, compliance, and quality requirements.
The role also involves delivering and collecting materials, tools, and equipment across multiple live schemes throughout the North West, ensuring all items are loaded, secured, and delivered in line with programme needs. You will complete delivery documentation, conduct daily vehicle checks, and uphold high standards of health and safety at all times. Working closely with site managers, procurement, and operations teams, you will assist with logistics planning, waste management, and general support to ensure smooth programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in a stores, warehouse, or construction environment, strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team. A full UK driving licence is essential.
