About the Role
Pascoe International is renowned for its exceptional design and construction of a range of Superyacht tenders, earning numerous awards for their impeccable craftsmanship. As part of the company's continuous growth plan, an exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Aftersales Field Service Technician to join our growing team, supporting our global fleet of superyacht tenders through servicing, repairs, warranty work, refits and technical support.
This varied role combines workshop based engineering with worldwide field service. When not travelling, you will be based at our production facility in Swanwick, Hampshire, supporting refit projects, commissioning and new build production. When required, you will travel internationally to provide on-site technical support, working directly with owners, captains and crew, representing the Pascoe brand to the highest standard with professionalism, discretion and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, warranty repairs and refits on Pascoe tenders.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic faults both remotely and on-site.
- Provide technical support to customers by telephone and email.
- Produce accurate service reports and maintain service records.
- Retrieve and interpret technical drawings and documentation to support fault finding.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Support the Production team with commissioning, refits and new build activities when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
Skills & Experience
- Proven marine engineering experience with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with marine diesel engines, propulsion systems and marine electronics.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, customer service and report-writing skills.
- Professional, well-presented and able to work independently.
- Full UK Driving Licence, valid passport and unrestricted international travel.
- Marine engineering qualifications.
- Experience within the superyacht industry.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, CAN bus networks, Yanmar, Volvo Penta, waterjets and stern drives.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time salaried role based on a five-day, 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday) when based at our production facility in Swanwick.
When not travelling, you will support the Production and Refit teams with commissioning, servicing and engineering activities.
The role requires a high level of flexibility due to the nature of global field service support. Engineers should expect to spend approximately 50–60 days per year travelling internationally, although this will vary depending on customer demand.
Travel is typically planned in advance, however the successful candidate must also be comfortable with short-notice travel, including same-day or next-day international deployment where required to support urgent customer requirements.
The role is remunerated on a salaried basis, with the salary reflecting the flexibility required for international travel and occasional extended working days during customer assignments.
