Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both pre-planned and reactive maintenance/ emergency call outs.
Based in Birmingham the candidate will be provided with a van + fuel card.

Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently
- Document work performed and report any safety concerns or system faults promptly
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety procedures
- 24hr call out on rotation with other electricians {paid extra}
- Attend pre planned and reactive call outs
Qualifications
- Proven experience doing pre planned and reactive maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards (e.g., BS7671)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, 18th edition
- Comfortable with testing & Inspection
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence
