To learn and grow into a talented change expert within the Simplify team, to support on engagements and embark on a 3 year development programme providing successful candidates with the skills, qualifications and practical experience to be an established Consultant in the future.
What you will accomplish during Academy
Attain competency in various modules (covering areas in Business Analysis, Project Management, industry knowledge including wealth & Insurance and soft skills) throughout the programme in line with the Academy Framework.
Work on a broad range of challenging projects that have a significant impact on our clients, including regulatory and strategic projects across both business and tech, across various client functions.
Contributing team member, collaborating with colleagues to build trusting relationships and support the delivery of engagements.
Support engagements in various ways such as conducting market analysis, running workshops, mapping processes, leading workstreams, engaging with SME’s and stakeholders on project progress.
Lead or contribute to internal projects, aligned to the Simplify strategy gaining experience in a safe environment to supplement client work and personal development.
Expand tool kit, through coaching and training from our experienced team of practitioners across all core areas of consultancy from technical to soft skills.
Receive coaching development on increasing capability for interpersonal skills such as presenting, effective communication, managing stakeholders, difficult conversations & problem solving.
Provide thought leadership and insight based on knowledge, experience and research of wealth / insurance, technology, products and processes.
Involvement in Simplify’s corporate social responsibilities, including charity fund raising activities.
Study for and attain qualifications in your chosen specialism, typically Project Management or Business Analysis within first two years.
Experience
Must have:-
Min 2-3 years' experience within the Financial Services industry, which typically could include the following areas:
- Wealth (Life, Pensions or Investments)
- General Insurance (personal or commercial lines)
- Fin Tech or similar providers
Ambition, drive with a willingness to learn
A positive attitude to all tasks
Tenacity and resilience
Ability to manage pressure and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work a min of 3 days a week from Southampton and prepared to travel nationally based on client demand
Desirable but not essential:-
2 years of working within a change environment or on change programmes
Degree educated
Financial Services qualification
Change related qualification

£30k - £40k starting salary depending upon relevant change/industry experience
