Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction in both restaurant and nightclub settings
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Experience with serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or food preparation enhances your candidacy
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to hospitality, guest services, and food industry best practices
