Job Summary
Join the team at Bakers Dozen Bakery, a popular South London Caribbean takeaway known for its range of more than 21 creative and traditional patty flavours. We are looking for a Bread and Bun Specialist with experience in traditional Jamaican breads and buns, including hard-dough bread, spice buns and Easter buns. You will prepare, prove and bake products to a consistent standard while maintaining quality, taste and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare and bake traditional Jamaican breads and buns
- Monitor mixing, proving and baking times
- Keep the baking area clean, organised and hygienic
Skills
- Experience making hard-dough bread, spice buns or similar products
- Good understanding of dough preparation, proving and baking
- Reliable, consistent and able to follow food hygiene procedures
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
