Job Title: Delivery Driver
Working Hours: Mon-Fri - 7am - 5pm (45 hrs per week)
Overview:
We are currently looking for a proactive and reliable delivery driver to join our operation. You will play a crucial role as part of a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers in and around the London area.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
- Perform safe manual handling and loading/unloading of items as required
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure smooth delivery process
- Room of choice delivery with some assembly of furniture for customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Experience in commercial driving is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work
