Your Responsibilities
Develop and deliver training programs to production staff, covering manufacturing processes, safety, and quality standards, while also creating training materials like job aids and SOPs, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with management to identify and address training needs
Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, process manuals, and presentations.
Conduct on-the-job training, in-classroom instruction, and other methods for new and existing employees, emphasizing skills and knowledge required for production, and quality, safety.
Coach shift team members in use of key manufacturing activities utilising one point lessons (OPLs)
Evaluate employee performance during training, provide constructive feedback, and ensure they meet performance targets and standards
Partner with production, quality, and technical teams to identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring training aligns with operational changes
Induct new starters to site ensuring they fully understand their job roles and responsibilities
Maintain up to date knowledge with regard to production and EHS changes in the factory
Updating skills matrix and certification of training completed by all employees, ensuring that all information entered is correct
Your Profile
Required:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, quality systems, and relevant company software.
Strong ability to communicate complex information in an engaging and accessible manner to various learning styles
Ability to differentiate learning resources to cater to a wide range of learners and make learning inclusive
Excellent communication skills
Good level of IT skills: Excel, Word
Desirable
Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues
Experience in a similar role
