More Than a Job. An Opportunity to Change Lives.
At Blue Heart Care Group, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel safe, valued and understood.
Many of the children and young people we support have experienced significant trauma, loss, instability and adversity. Our role is not simply to provide care – it is to provide consistency, positive relationships and life-changing experiences that help young people build confidence, resilience and hope for the future.
We are looking for dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join our growing team and work across a variety of children's residential homes throughout South Wales.
This is a role for people who genuinely want to make a difference. People who understand that some days will be challenging, but who continue to show up because they know the impact a positive adult can have on a young person's life.
The Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will work within a variety of children's residential homes supporting young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs.
You will:
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with young people
- Support education, life skills and independence
- Encourage participation in activities and community opportunities
- Promote emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes
- Support young people through challenging situations
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Work alongside experienced residential teams to deliver high-quality care
- Follow safeguarding and regulatory requirements at all times
No two shifts are ever the same. One day you may be supporting a young person to attend education, another helping them achieve a personal goal, celebrate an achievement, or overcome a challenge they never thought possible.
