We're re-launching our Eight Acres Health Club in Elgin as a fantastic community club - a great gym, pool, jacuzzi and saunas - and we're looking for a Club Manager to lead it.
The role
As Club Manager you'll own the site. This is a pre-sale role, so you'll start ahead of opening to build the membership base, ready the team, and get Eight Acres open and thriving. Once we're live, you'll run the day-to-day and grow the club into a place Elgin is proud of. Refurbishment is in progress and we're aiming to open as soon as possible, with an immediate start available.
What you'll do:
- Lead the membership pre-sale and hit growth targets ahead of and after opening
- Recruit, train and inspire a brilliant team
- Run safe, smooth day-to-day operations across the gym, pool, jacuzzi and saunas
- Own the club's commercial performance - revenue, retention and member experience
- Build genuine relationships in the local community
- Make sure standards, safety and compliance are second to none
What we're looking for:
- Leadership experience in leisure, fitness, hospitality or a similar customer-facing environment
- A strong commercial head - comfortable with sales, targets and growth
- Someone who leads from the front, takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told
- Great people skills and a genuine community mindset
- A Pool Plant Operator qualification is desirable - but if you don't have one, we'll put you through it
- A Pool Emergency Responder course is required - we provide this
