St. Anne’s Residential Home is looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our compassionate team, delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. We have full time, part time, day and night shifts available.
St Anne's Residential home is located in the rural village of Whitstone, our residents are very special to the whole team and we pride ourselves in making a difference in each of their days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living support in line with individual care plans
- Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding where necessary
- Administer medication (for authorised staff) and document accurately
- Support with activities and promote resident wellbeing
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control across all areas
- Handle laundry, ensure residents' clothing is properly labelled, and maintain linen
- Report and record any incidents, accidents, or changes in residents’ conditions
- Comply with all health & safety and confidentiality policies
- Promote safeguarding policies and procedures
Shift Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with personal care, home care, meal times, complete laundry tasks, support in engagement in social activities, assist with toileting needs, support bedtime routines (list not exhaustive).
Who We Are Looking For:
- Someone with a caring nature and commitment to resident dignity and independence
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and observational skills
- Willingness to follow policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements to promote best practice
- Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
