As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to lead our Residential Conveyancing team based in Leicester. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical expertise, a client-focused approach, proven business development skills, and the ability to inspire and manage a team of legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Residential Conveyancing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to junior solicitors and conveyancers.
- Handle a caseload of complex and high-value residential property matters from instruction to completion.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, including Lexcel and CQS.
- Drive performance, profitability, and productivity across the team while maintaining exceptional client service standards.
- Play a key role in the development and execution of the department's growth strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers, introducers, and other key referrers to generate new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the team's client base, increase market presence, and enhance revenue growth.
- Represent the firm at networking events, industry functions, and community initiatives, acting as an ambassador for the Rothera Bray brand.
- Collaborate with other senior staff and partners to support strategic objectives, cross-selling opportunities, and wider business development initiatives.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, referrers, and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
- Proven leadership and team management experience within a legal environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Demonstrable track record of business development, networking, and building successful referral relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to departmental profitability.
- Excellent communication, organisational, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to developing new business and enhancing client service delivery.
