Job Summary
Baraka London, a leading wholesaler and retailer of premium men’s and women’s perfumes and branded Islamic clothing, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Customer Sales Specialist (Perfumes) to join our busy retail and wholesale perfume shop. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in perfume sales, excellent communication skills, and a vibrant personality suited for a fast-paced environment. As our shop serves a diverse customer base—including a large African clientele—we welcome applicants who have strong Islamic cultural understanding, market knowledge, or experience engaging with African perfume trends and customer preferences. The role requires exceptional product knowledge, the ability to guide customers confidently, maintain high service standards, and contribute actively to sales growth.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail and wholesale clients, offering expert guidance on perfume selections based on customer preferences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of a wide range of men’s and women’s perfumes, including popular fragrances within African markets and trends.
- Build strong customer relationships, ensuring repeat sales and positive shop reputation.
- Assist in managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and ensuring the shop floor is well-presented at all times.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately for both retail and wholesale customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in perfume sales or retail customer service, preferably in a busy fragrance or beauty environment.
- Strong knowledge of perfume types, notes, and matching customer preferences; familiarity with African fragrance trends is highly beneficial.
- Dynamic, confident, and friendly personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with a diverse customer base and deliver high-quality service.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
- Local candidates with good knowledge of the surrounding community will be preferred.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage, though not required.
Pay: £400.00-£500.00 per week
