Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic School leaver Apprentice Electrician to join our team! This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on electrical experience while working alongside skilled professionals. If you’re eager to learn, motivated, and ready to kick-start your career in electrical work, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will be required to meet the senior electrician each morning in Worle by 7.15am, so the position ideally suits the candidate living in Weston Super Mare and surrounding areas
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Learn to interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions
- Support the preparation of job sites by organizing materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Conduct basic inspections of electrical components and systems for quality and safety compliance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Participate in training sessions to develop your electrical skills and knowledge
- Attend college on a day realise basis to gain the full apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Strong interest in developing electrical experience through practical training
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in a team environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
