About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious HGV Refuse Vehicle Driver to join our waste collection team. You will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently while working alongside loaders to provide a high-quality waste collection service to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV refuse collection vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
- Carry out scheduled waste and recycling collections efficiently and professionally.
- Work closely with the collection crew to ensure routes are completed safely and on time.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service when interacting with members of the public.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including manual handling and safe working practices.
- Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in all weather conditions.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
