Employment Contract: Monday to Friday (Term time / 39 weeks)
Hours: 37.5 Hours a week
Responsibilities of the post:
SEND Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain and update the SEND Register, ensuring all student records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate and track EHCP processes, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
- Support the SENDCo and Head of Inclusion in preparing documents for EHCP reviews, Annual Reviews, and referrals.
- Ensure timely submission of SEND data to local authorities and external agencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with GDPR regulations in relation to student records.
Administrative Support for Inclusion Team:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Inclusion, SENDCo, and wider Inclusion Team.
- Organise meetings, book venues, and take minutes for SEND-related meetings and reviews.
- Assist with the coordination of training and CPD for staff in relation to SEND and inclusion.
- Maintain and update a centralised bank of resources for SEND interventions.
- Support communication between the Inclusion Team, teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
Student & Parent Liaison:
- Act as a first point of contact for parents/carers regarding SEND enquiries.
- Support the arrangement of parent meetings, ensuring families are informed and involved in the SEND process.
- Assist in the preparation of accessible information for parents regarding SEND support and services.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of student interventions and progress monitoring data.
- Assist in generating reports on SEND student progress, attendance, and engagement.
- Support the Head of Inclusion in analysing data to identify trends and areas for development.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Model high expectations, inclusive practice and professional conduct aligned with school and company values.
· Safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people.
· Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
· Uphold and contribute to the development of ES policies, procedures and staff code of conduct.
- Participate in appraisal, supervision and continuous professional development.
- Access 1:1 coaching and support.
· Provide timely responses to emails or requests for information.
· Manage your online calendar and ensure important deadlines are met, seeking support where required.
· Attend all scheduled company training days, team coaching, INSET Days and meetings as required.
· Attend ES Team Awards ceremony held annually each December.
· Undertake any other duties that may be required commensurate with the scale and function of the post
