Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Night Care Assistant to join our vibrant care home team. Duties
- Supervise and support care staff during night shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Assist residents with all aspects of personal care and continence needs.
- Monitor residents’ safety, health, and well-being through regular checks and observations
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations or resident needs during the night
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, incidents, and any changes in residents’ conditions
- Implement and review individual care plans in collaboration with the wider care team
- Communicate clearly with residents, colleagues, and emergency services as needed to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a care home environment with senior or vulnerable adults
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare or social care setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of care planning processes and IT systems used for documentation and reporting
- A genuine passion for senior care and supporting individuals through compassionate service
Pay: £13.71-£13.72 per hour
