Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third in Charge to join our management team. As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. You will work with us to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
Duties:
-Work as part of the management team and contribute to the leadership of the team and nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's physical, social, and intellectual development
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
Experience:
- Level 3 qualification and previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of child development and best practices
-Understanding of OFSTED framework
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for young children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Patience and understanding
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and inspire and lead colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
