The Role
The Executive Business Partner is a trusted member of the General Manager's Office, providing high-level business, operational and executive support to the Chief Business Controller and General Manager.
The role is responsible for gathering, validating and analysing key business information to support executive decision-making, while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, governance and due diligence. Working closely with departmental leaders and the Finance team, the Executive Business Partner will coordinate reporting, reconcile data, support strategic projects and drive cross-functional collaboration.
The position also provides executive support, including diary management, travel and expenses where required, together with professional English and Mandarin translation to enable effective communication across the UK business and wider Harmony Group.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Reporting & Business Analysis
- Gather, validate and analyse executive business information.
Data Governance & Reconciliation
- Work closely with departmental managers and the Finance team to reconcile operational and financial information.
- Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy, governance and due diligence.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality.
Project Coordination
- Support or lead internal projects on behalf of the General Manager's Office.
- Coordinate meetings, actions and milestones to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor progress and provide updates to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management
- Bring together key stakeholders to achieve agreed business objectives.
- Build collaborative relationships across departments.
- Track actions and ensure accountability through to completion.
Executive Support
Support the Chief Business Controller and General Manager with:
- Diary management.
- Travel arrangements.
- Expense administration.
- Executive meeting preparation.
- Presentation and report preparation.
- General executive administration as required.
Translation & Communication
- Provide professional English and Mandarin translation and interpretation for Mr Chao Chen.
- Translate reports, emails, presentations and business documentation.
- Support meetings and facilitate clear communication between UK teams and Chinese colleagues.
- Assist with bilingual documentation and visiting delegates where required.
- Produce accurate reporting covering vehicle sales, KPIs, BGPC, stock management and other business performance measures.
- Ensure all executive reports are complete, accurate and delivered within agreed timescales.
- Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies before submission.
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting senior executives or business leadership.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and reporting capability.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
