Duties
- Operate and maintain various machining equipment, including planer machines, dim saw, and sanders, ensuring high precision in all work.
- Read and understand order process.
- Perform maintenhance and service machinery.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and tooling to carry out assembly, modification, and finishing processes.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery or parts during production.
- Conduct basic maths calculations for measurements, tolerances, and dimensions necessary for machining tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling effectively.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
