Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service in a new and exciting bar opening in Blandford Forum, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in serving or working behind a bar is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities are essential for handling busy periods effectively
- Basic maths skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately
- A friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanour are vital for success in this role
