Overview
We are hiring a Showroom Sales Assistant to join our Garden Furniture Showroom.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by arranging displays.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and sales techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
