The Role
As the Nursery Room Leader, you will lead the Pre-School area with confidence while supporting your team to provide outstanding childcare and early years education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating your room team to deliver exceptional childcare.
- Ensuring the safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
- Supporting children with individual needs and working closely with parents and colleagues.
- Maintaining high standards of care, hygiene and health & safety.
- Leading by example and promoting best practice throughout the nursery.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification (or equivalent) *Please note that standalone Health & Social Care qualifications do not meet the qualification requirements for this position*
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Leadership experience or the confidence to step into a Room Leader position.
- A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
