We are looking to hire a Kitchen Assistant to assist in the smooth running of our flagship store in the city (Moorgate). The role will suit someone who is reliable, organised and committed to their job and takes not only the role seriously but food Hygiene and cleanliness seriously.
Rice Guys are on a mission to challenge popular beliefs that Asian food is unhealthy and greasy. Our food is originally Asian - with a twist. Rice Guys have modernised and recreated traditional Asian dishes using sustainably sourced and nutritious ingredients, to serve up fast, affordable and delicious meals. We are currently serving our delicious meals using our vintage Peugeot J7 food trucks all around London and at our three stores in the Heart of the City at London Wall, Canary Wharf and Bow Lane.
Your daily responsibilities
- Be punctual each day
- Working as part of a team
- Sufficient kitchen experience to follow all food quality prep and quantity standards
- Ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Hot and cold food preparation
- Awareness of stock control
- Assist in making orders to ensure sufficient stock levels
