Senior Residential Care Worker – Children’s Home (Dual Placement)

We are opening a new, small dual-placement children’s home and are looking for a Senior Residential Care Worker who is passionate about doing residential care the right way.
This home has been designed intentionally — realistic staffing, experienced leadership, and a clear commitment to therapeutic, relationship-based care. No fire-fighting culture. No dictatorship. No endless short staffing as the norm.

The Role
As a Senior Care Worker, you will:
- Help create and sustain a calm, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
- Lead shifts with confidence, consistency, and compassion
- Support children through attuned, relationship-based care
- Model best practice and support colleagues on shift
- Work collaboratively with clinical and leadership teams
- For this role the applicant needs to have reached their 21st Birthday.
About You
- Passionate about children’s residential care — and not burnt out beyond repair
- Values relationships, safety, and emotional containment
- Brings a positive ethos and genuine can-do attitude
- Confident, reflective, and emotionally intelligent
- Wants to be part of building something right from the start
Qualifications
- Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care is desirable but not essential
- Relevant residential experience is key
Pay & Working Pattern
- £14.50 - £15 per hour, dependent on qualifications.
- £70 per sleep-in
- £15 per day for "Stand by" rota
- Rota-based shift pattern- 2 on 4 off.
- On call duty
