Global Telemetrics is one of the UK's leading providers of vehicle tracking and stolen vehicle recovery solutions, operating trusted brands including SmarTrack and Autowatch UK.
Our technology helps protect thousands of vehicles across the UK, while our Operations Team works closely with customers, installers, engineers and police forces to provide outstanding support and assist with vehicle recovery when thefts occur.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Coalville.
Why Join Global Telemetrics?
This is far more than a typical customer service role.
Every day brings a new challenge. You could be helping a customer resolve an issue with their tracking system, supporting an installer in the field, investigating an unusual vehicle alert, assisting with a theft case, or helping coordinate the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
You'll gain experience across customer service, operations, technical support, incident management and vehicle recovery, developing a broad range of valuable skills within a growing and innovative business.
Career Development & Progression
We believe in developing talent from within.
Many of our team members started in entry-level operational roles similar to this one and have gone on to build successful careers across the business. Several colleagues have progressed into:
- Senior Operations roles
- Team Leader and Management positions
- Sales and Account Management roles
- Technical and specialist positions
- Other key departments across the organisation
We actively support employees who demonstrate commitment, initiative and a willingness to learn. As our business continues to grow, so do the opportunities available to our team.
This role can be the start of a long-term career, not just your next job.

You'll work closely with customers, installers, engineers, colleagues and external agencies to help resolve issues and deliver an excellent customer experience.
A typical day may involve responding to vehicle tracking alerts, speaking with customers by phone, assisting with theft and recovery cases, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting installers, managing support tickets, updating records and ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately.
Full training will be provided on our products, systems and processes, so previous experience within vehicle tracking or telematics is not required.
