We have an exciting new vacancy for a Bar Attendant to join our team at The Britannia Wigan. The Britannia Wigan is a 124-bedroom hotel situated opposite the M6 motorway providing easy access to major cities such as Liverpool and Manchester and only 3 miles from Wigan town centre.
Please Note: This is a seasonal role running until November, with the potential opportunity to secure a permanent position at this hotel or within our wider hotel group, including opportunities at our surrounding hotels such as Britannia Hotel Manchester and Britannia Hotel Bolton, subject to business needs and performance.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the bar area is always clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing recommendations to guests
- Preparing the bar for service, clearing and resetting tables
- Informing guests about our products and services, and answering any questions
- Ensuring that there is sufficient glassware, stock, and other items for each shift
The successful candidate will be organised, punctual, and efficient. You will possess excellent customer service skills and work well as part of a team. Availability to work evenings and weekends is a requirement of this position.
