At Vintage.com, we’re building the most trusted platform for pre-loved items. We help people give valuable things a new life, making the experience simple, transparent and rewarding.
We bring together specialist knowledge, thoughtful technology and genuine care for our customers. By helping more items stay in circulation, we create value for people and make a positive impact at the same time.
Our Marketplace Team takes the items our customers send us and gets them ready for their next chapter. Working across a huge variety of pre-loved products, the team organises, prepares and routes stock so it can move efficiently through the right sales channel and reach its next owner.
The Breakdown Team sits at an important point in that journey. Once items have been appraised, the team takes that stock and sorts it into the right categories before moving it onwards to our Marketplace and Trade teams for sale.
As an Internal Logistics Assistant, you’ll keep stock moving efficiently from Appraisals into the next stage of its journey.
You’ll scan and decant boxes of appraised stock onto our conveyor line, move items through the breakdown process and sort them into the correct categories. You’ll then move full tubs, cages and stock to the teams responsible for getting those items ready for sale.
This is a hands-on, fast-moving logistics role. A significant part of your day will involve moving boxes, tubs, cages and stock around the operation, so being comfortable with practical and physically active work is an important part of the role.
You don't need to be a product expert. What matters is being able to quickly develop enough category knowledge to recognise where different items need to go, while maintaining the pace and accuracy needed to keep stock flowing through the operation.
Every item correctly sorted and moved onwards helps us process more customer boxes, prevent delays and ultimately give more pre-loved items another chance to be sold.
