The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with disabled or disadvantaged individuals in training or employment settings.
- Knowledge of supported employment principles and a person-centred approach.
- Strong experience of assessing needs, setting goals, and delivering tailored training and support.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employers, clients, and families.
- Ability to build partnerships, network with local businesses, and identify work opportunities.
- Strong organisational and IT skills, including maintaining records and managing caseloads.
- An understanding of disability, employment barriers, and relevant legislation.
- Resilience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and support individuals with diverse needs.
- Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as required.
