Truck Driver (Class 2) – Multi-Drop Deliveries
Due to continued company growth and expansion, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Class 2 Truck Driver to join our growing logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company that is expanding its operations and investing in its people.
The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-drop deliveries, be confident using tail-lift vehicles, and be comfortable driving Class 2 vehicles. ADR certification is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload cargo while following all safety procedures.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles remain in good working condition.
- Complete delivery logs and required documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and driving regulations.
- Provide a high level of customer service during deliveries.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of delivery routes and logistics operations.
- Excellent driving ability with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail for documentation and cargo handling.
