About the role
We're a fire safety company looking for a trainee to join our team and grow with the business. This is a hands-on role with a clear progression path, you'll start by supporting general maintenance and learning the trade, and over time develop into more senior, independent work and specialist areas of fire safety systems.
We genuinely don't mind if you're new to the industry. What matters most to us is attitude and organisation. The single most important trait we're looking for is someone who is exceptionally well organised, someone who keeps on top of tasks, follows things through to completion, and helps keep the wider team on track. What you'll be doing
- Assisting with general maintenance, including routine scheduled maintenance and repairs of fire safety systems
- Assisting with fire and security installations
- Attending call-outs (once you're deemed competent, and where transport is available)
- Attending college and industry training courses as part of your development
- Supporting the team with organised, well-managed administrative and scheduling tasks
Where this role can go
As you build experience and competence, you'll progress into:
- Attending jobs independently or as part of a team
- Providing support to customers when required
- Specialising in areas of fire safety such as design, installation, service and commissioning
- Learning our BAFE processes, and training in fire system design and other administrative responsibilities

- Full driving licence is an advantage (but not essential to start)
- No prior experience needed, we'll train the right person
