£490-£560 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
A fantastic opportunity is available for a TA4 to join a welcoming primary school in Denton, Tameside, on a full-time, long-term basis from September. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working across different year groups, can confidently step into lessons when needed and is equally passionate about providing strong pastoral support to pupils.
- Based in Denton, the school is a large primary setting with pupils across EYFS to KS2, offering plenty of variety and opportunities to work across different age groups.
- The role will involve covering lessons across the school as and when needed, supporting pupils and staff in different year groups and adapting quickly to changing requirements.
- Alongside lesson cover, there will be a strong pastoral element, supporting pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour and engagement and helping create a positive and inclusive school environment. This is a full-time, long-term position from September.
- Holds TA4/HLTA-level experience and is confident taking responsibility for learning and supporting lessons across different year groups.
- Has strong classroom management and behaviour management skills, with the confidence to adapt their approach depending on the age and needs of the pupils.
- Is approachable, reliable and naturally good with children, with a genuine interest in pastoral care and pupil wellbeing as well as academic progress.
