Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling of goods
- Plan delivery routes for optimal efficiency and timely arrivals
- Communicate with dispatch to confirm delivery schedules and report any delays or issues promptly
- Inspect vehicles regularly to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each drop-off
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift heavy packages and handle physical demands of loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly customer service approach
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently

Pay: £101.68-£110.00 per day
