QC Inspector
Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 17:00-02:00
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Long Bennington. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced vehicle preparation environment, ensuring vehicles meet the required quality standards before being released for delivery.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to identify and record defects accurately while working closely with operational teams.
The Role:
As a QC Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out detailed quality inspections on completed vehicles
- Identifying and recording cosmetic, mechanical, and preparation-related defects
- Ensuring vehicles meet customer and manufacturer standards prior to release
- Completing inspection reports and quality documentation accurately
- Using handheld devices and internal systems to record inspection findings
- Liaising with workshop and preparation teams to rectify any issues identified
- Supporting continuous improvement by highlighting recurring quality concerns
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Following all company health and safety procedures
The Person:
- Previous experience in vehicle inspection, quality control, PDI, or a similar automotive role
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Good understanding of vehicle condition standards
- Confident using handheld devices and computer systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
