Responsibilities
- Carefully pack bakery products using proper materials handling techniques to maintain freshness and quality.
- Load and unload shipments utilizing mechanical knowledge and equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Manage inventory by stocking products accurately within the warehouse management system (WMS) and ensuring proper storage procedures.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying orders, inspecting goods for quality control, and documenting movements.
- Pick and pack items efficiently to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks on baked goods to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and ensure safe handling of all materials during the packing process.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when required.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is advantageous.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, stock management, and picking & packing processes.
- Mechanical aptitude or basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols at all times.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
