Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and handle tips professionally
- Assist in setting up the bar area before service and cleaning up after closing hours
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any special requests or dietary needs
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure guest safety at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in restaurant or bar settings, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Proven ability to serve efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
