Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor organisational budgets, expenses, and revenue streams to ensure financial health
- Assist in the development of financial models and business cases for new projects or initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimisation
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and insights
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity within financial systems
Skills
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably within a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel; experience with financial software is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
