We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Business Development & Growth Manager to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our business.
This is a senior appointment for someone with a proven track record of winning instructions, building lasting client relationships and driving commercial performance within the residential property sector.
Working closely with the Lettings Team Director, you will take ownership of landlord acquisition, valuation performance, strategic partnerships and business development initiatives, helping shape the future growth of the company.

You will be responsible for generating new landlord opportunities, conducting high-quality valuations, winning instructions and contributing towards the ongoing growth strategy of the business.
This is a fast-paced role requiring commercial awareness, flexibility and excellent organisational skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Generate new landlord opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with landlords.
- Reactivate historic and dormant opportunities.
- Generate Discovery Calls and valuation appointments.
- Represent the business within the local marketplace.
Valuations & Instruction Conversion
- Conduct Discovery Calls.
- Attend property valuations.
- Deliver consultative valuation presentations.
- Prepare fee proposals.
- Secure new management instructions.
- Maximise valuation conversion through effective follow-up.
- Negotiate confidently whilst maintaining excellent customer experience.
Strategic Business Growth
- Work alongside the Lettings Team Director to support business growth initiatives.
- Analyse business generation performance.
- Monitor conversion rates and identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend improvements to business development processes.
- Assist with future growth planning.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Support landlord seminars and webinars.
- Assist with educational marketing campaigns.
- Identify new networking opportunities.
- Build the company's profile within the local market.
- Work alongside colleagues on marketing initiatives designed to generate new business.
Relationship Management
- Build trusted adviser relationships with prospective landlords.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales journey.
- Maintain regular contact with prospective clients.
- Create long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
Experience & SkillsEssential
- Previous residential lettings or estate agency experience.
- Proven experience winning new business.
- Experience conducting property valuations.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills.
- CRM experience.
- Highly organised.
- Self-motivated.
- Professional appearance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

The Rewards
We recognise that attracting exceptional people means offering exceptional rewards.
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £35,000, together with an uncapped commission and bonus structure, offering a realistic On-Target Earnings of £55,000+.
