Assurance & People Development Coordinator

About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Assurance & People Development Coordinator to join our growing team at Bridgeway.
This is a varied and fast paced role where you’ll play a vital part in supporting our safety, assurance, and people focused activities. You’ll ensure key processes run smoothly, records are maintained accurately, and teams are supported to meet compliance and development requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Assurance & Safety
- Maintain safety and assurance records (e.g. registers, action trackers, audit logs)
- Monitor and track safety actions, ensuring timely close-out
- Support administration of incidents, audits, inspections and close calls
- Coordinate briefing confirmations and track completion
- Prepare reports and documentation for safety meetings and reviews
- Support DSE and HAVS processes and track compliance
People & Development Support
- Assist with onboarding and induction processes
- Manage training agreements and related documentation
- Maintain confidential employee records
- Support wellbeing initiatives and health related processes
- Provide administrative support for Employee Relations activity
Communications & Engagement
- Draft and distribute internal communications
- Support the communications calendar and content planning
- Assist with wellbeing campaigns and external communications
Data & Reporting
- Collect and maintain assurance and people data
- Update trackers, spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Produce KPI summaries and reports for internal meetings
Meetings & Coordination
- Prepare meeting packs, reports and presentations
- Record minutes and track actions
- Coordinate reporting and briefing outputs
Stakeholder Support
- Liaise with internal teams, managers and external stakeholders
- Support Rail Forum administration and general coordination
- Assist with queries and raise purchase orders where required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
