Job Introduction
Recruitment and Onboarding Co-Ordinator ( Fixed Term )
£26,222.50 per annum
Remote with occasional travel
Main areas of overall accountability:

Organizing and sending onboarding documentation including offer letters, contracts of employment, links to Horizon’s onboarding platform, details about the company and start dates.

Working in conjunction with Recruiters and operational stakeholders to ensure offered candidates are processed and on boarded in a timely and effective manner.

Liaise with candidates throughout Onboarding process ensuring all relevant documentation required (DBS, RTW, referencing etc.) is obtained in a timely manner.

Ensuring that references are requested and chased in a timely manner.

Managing delays in the onboarding process as appropriate including withdrawals.

Ensuring that candidates and hiring managers are regularly updated on their onboarding journey.

Liaising with operational stakeholders to agree a start date as soon as possible.

Addressing negative references or DBS promptly liaising with the appropriate teams including operations and employee relations.

Assisting in the drafting of risk assessments where appropriate.

Respond to any questions or queries from new hires in a timely manner

Working with IT to ensure that new hire have the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software.

Ensure that the Safer Recruitment Policy is adhered to.

Manage and update the Horizon’s Onboarding systems.

Provide weekly and monthly reports highlighting onboarding data including number of roles in process by division, service and role type and average time to hire.
Documentation
-
Contribute to the design and review of recruitment-related policies.

Draft and review onboarding documentation including reference requests, DBS and reference risk assessments and chaser letters.

To ensure that only high-quality documentation is sent to candidates.

Play an active role in creating and updating Horizon’s onboarding toolkit.
Record Keeping and GDPR

Ensure that all onboarding documentation is saved to individual personnel files using Sage People or any other system as directed.

Always maintain compliance with Data Protection and GDPR.

Onboarding to be managed in line with the Safer Recruitment Policy

Reduce time to hire to under 25 working days

Reduced drop out rate during onboarding process

Improve onboarding experience by increasing engagement and training within the onboarding process
Requirements for the role:

Experience of dealing with a high volume of vacancies
-
A track record of efficiency, reducing delays from offer to commencement of employment as far as possible
- A track record of using data and metrics to devise solutions drive actions

Experience of working in a regulated environment

A desire to increase employee engagement rates, retention and stability rates
