Horizon Wiring is looking for a skilled and motivated Wiring Technician to join our production team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work, problem-solving, and producing high-quality bespoke wiring harnesses for a variety of customer applications.
Working closely with our Production and Technical Leads, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality assemblies that meet customer specifications, company standards, and production targets.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Technician, you will:
- Manufacture bespoke wiring harnesses to customer specifications and company procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and build manuals.
- Work with Production and Technical Leads to ensure builds are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Complete technician checklists and quality documentation before assemblies are submitted for QC.
- Create line inspection reports and build notes to support drawing updates and process improvements.
- Use our Flowlens system to record timesheets, tasks, and operational documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support company productivity goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.
What We're Looking For

- Has experience in electrical assembly, wiring harness manufacture, or a similar technical production environment.
- Can confidently read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to continuous improvement.
