Pay: £13.80-£16.80 per hour

We are seeking flexible and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our teams in Glossop. This role involves providing high-quality childcare support to children of various ages, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
Youchoosework connects vetted, caring individuals with nurseries and schools across Glossop that need flexible cover for short-term shifts. Whether you're a parent, a student wanting shifts that fit around lectures, a retired childcare professional, or someone returning to the workforce.
Duties include:
· Supporting registered childcare settings and schools across Hadfield and Glossop to cover short-term staff absences
· Working with children aged 0–11 in nurseries, preschools, and primary school settings
· Helping maintain safe ratios so settings can deliver high-quality care

What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for working with children — experience and qualifications welcome but not always essential
· Fluency in English
· Reliability and professionalism — our settings depend on you turning up and doing a great job
· An enhanced DBS check (we'll guide you through this if you don't already have one)
· Based in or near Hadfield and able to commute to local settings
