Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver based in Alton. You will be part of the vital team that link Love your Home with our valued customers as you deliver beautiful furniture nationally.
In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional service with a positive attitude. Your driving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will help us deliver excellence every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, stay active, and make a real impact with our customers.
We deliver and assemble sofas, armchairs, and beds, to our customer base and this also includes:
- Preparing products for collection from the warehouse
- Distributing stock between warehouses
- Undertaking customer service calls such as delivering replacement parts to customer's home
- Delivering items to and moving furniture on product photoshoot
- Contacting customers to keep updated of delivery time and if delays occur due to traffic.
During deliveries, you will be working with a crew of two men per van. The role will be working alongside our Warehouse Manager, to assist the Production, Customer Service and Marketing Departments.
Person Specification:
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
- A practical mindset and hands-on approach to problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with customers in a professional and polite manner
- Good organisational skills, and able to prioritise and plan effectively
Hours are based on 7 - 3, Monday to Friday, as we deliver nationwide and due to the nature of the job hours vary.
