Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Porter to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food service operations, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring the smooth running of kitchen and dining areas. Duties
- Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure timely service
- Support kitchen staff with cleaning, organising, and maintaining hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
- Help with delivery of meals to guests or customers, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear tables and assist in setting up dining areas for service
- Manage stock levels of utensils, condiments, and serving ware
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to customer needs courteously and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in the kitchen and dining areas
- Support baristas or restaurant staff during busy periods by serving beverages or assisting with basic tasks
- Follow phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience as a delivery driver or in meal delivery roles is beneficial
- Skills in cooking, meal preparation, or culinary activities are desirable
- Familiarity with hotel or barista service enhances suitability for the role
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent guest services
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to support kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health & safety guidelines

Pay: £450.00-£600.00 per week
