Böcker Driver – Mobile Crane/MEWP Operator
Location: Depot based in Dalkeith (Field-Based - will require National travel)

About the Role
Lowton Infrastructure Group is looking for an experienced CPCS Mobile Crane Operator and/or MEWP Operator with a Class 2 (Category C) Licence to operate our brand new Böcker crane across Scotland.
This is a fantastic opportunity, working on a variety of infrastructure and energy projects throughout the region.
The role involves travelling to sites across Scotland, so flexibility is essential. Some projects will require overnight stays away from home, and there is regular opportunity for weekend overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating our new Böcker mobile crane
- Delivering equipment and carrying out lifting operations on customer sites
- Undertaking pre-use inspections and daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all lifting activities are completed in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
- Working closely with site teams, customers and project managers
- Maintaining a professional and safety-focused approach at all times
- Representing the business positively on customer sites
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (essential)
- CPCS A66 or equivalent crane operator certification (essential)
- IPAF certification (desired but training can be given)
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes (essential)
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and health & safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours + stay out when required
Desirable
- Experience operating Böcker equipment
- Relevant lifting operations experience
