We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team. Hours Available:
- Students: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Non-students: Approximately 30-35 hours per week
- Evening and weekend availability is essential.
Pay
- National Minimum Wage (depending on age)
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Prepare and reset tables before and after service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Answer telephone enquiries and take takeaway orders.
- Manage online delivery platforms and collection orders.
- Process customer payments using the EPOS till system.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is clean and ready for service.
What We're Looking For
- Applicants must be 20 years of age or older, preferably mature and experienced.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred (at least 1 year is ideal).
- Experience working in an Indian restaurant is an advantage but not essential.
- Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure and able to work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
